| Weyerbacher Hefeweizen | |
| I belong to a the BeerAdvocate.com which is a great place to check out various beers. They allow reviews and so forth as well as other net-social activities and beer fest listings. I thought I would post my reviews here because I know many of my fellow DSS members are avid beer drinkers and they may want to investigate some new territory in the way of fermented malt beverages.
Weyerbacher is a company I have come to love in the past year or so. They have an excellent selection of brews each with their own unique characters. The brewery is based out of Easton, Pa. and has been around since 1995. I won't delve into the history of the company however if you are interested, check their site out. How could you not love a brewery that has beers as appropriately named as these:

| Sapphire Radeon x1900xt 256M | |
| During an overhaul of my computer, I chose to purchase the Sapphire Radeon x1900xt 256M PCI-E VGA card. I hadn't upgraded in quite some time and my latest graphics card was a GF4 TI4600.
I did some research and found that this card was performing as well as Nvidia's cards if not better. The 256M card was keeping right up with the latter's 512M version and surpassing it in some cases. I've always liked ATI chipsets although the drivers can be a bear. Sapphire has been around for a while but cost drove me to use their brand.
The packaging was typical and the accessories included were plenty. The card features GDDR3 and S-Video out.

| Happauge 1062 Win-TV PCI PVR-150 MCE | |
| We had been using vhs tapes to record our shows when we couldn't watch them. Mainly, my wife records two soaps on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I can't remember the last thing I recorded to vhs. Anyway, the tapes we have were getting old and pretty much ready for the trash. Additionally, the TV/VCR we have randomly quit recording which created a bit of anger on my wife's part and of course, that ends up on my lap one way or another.
So thats the premise. I figured these HTPC setups can't be that difficult and considering my experience, why should we rely on a 30 year old technology. After doing a bit of research and pricing, I decided on the Hauppauge 1062 PVR-150 MCE.
