OK here is my dilema. My computer sits in the old washer dryer area at my house. It sits there cause it has double doors and I can close up the desk full of junk. It gets warm in there and I have a dryer vent space in the wall.
I was thinking about putting a small 3 inch or so fan just to move the air, but all the fans I see plug into the computer. I need one with a 110V connection.
I wanted a small one so it would fit inside the dryer vent tube and I wouldnt kick it around.
Any suggestions?

Run all the time
Do you want to run the fan all the time, or just when the computer is on? If only when the computer is on, then why not just plug it into the power supply of the computer?

Yes I want it to run all the
Yes I want it to run all the time, cause the puter runs all the time. Heck I havent shut this puter down for more than a month total in about 8 years.
Plus its about a 3 foot run to the puter from the vent, and I dont want to break in the case to wire it. Dust bunnies are holding it together.
Your vent hose is proabably
Your vent hose is proabably 4 inch so you would need somewhere around a 100mm fan. Basically a 92 or 120 mm would have to work. They make fans that run off 110V like the one here --> http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=49&products_id=20504&zenid=afc7250fa8620113328b92c803e91c02
Or you could utilize an old case fan and hack up a 12V power supply (not a pc power supply but a transformer that you may have laying around from an old electronic part.) I would think a quick trip to Radio Shack could get you hooked up fairly quick like.
If you get a 120mm, you could probably make some form of duct work out of tape and cardboard to mount the fan in the proper location.
