Does this make sense?

Before I slap this guy, an IP addy cant get corrupted can it? I've never heard of it and it sounded stupid....

"It's not comcast, but rather my computer decided to take a dump with the upgrade to the internet. Long story short, comcast issued me a new IP address... a corrupted IP address filled with spyware that killed my computer."

Never heard that in all of my hosting career.

However, IP addresses can get blacklisted. But that's a different story.

"as far as the IP addy, I called comcast and they said "thats a bad address and shouldn't have been issued... now the damn IP addy won't reset (we tried that whole manual switch thing for it and all.)"

Is this person trying to use additional dedicated IPs? Sounds like he needs someone smart to help him out.
