The Dead Space Society

I haven't been around the site in quite some time so I thought I'd drop a note to catch up.

House:

My wife and I purchased 24 acres about two years ago. We are finally getting our mortgage to build a house which has been quite a project thus far. I've been desigining and documenting everything that pertains to our future home for about two years as well. We are anxious to get out of the whole rent deal and have our own place.

Vehicles:

I restored a wrecked 1995 Talon TSi AWD. I have a little more work to do but it runs like a raped date. I picked up a 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited for $1000.00. I had to put a piece of exhaust in place but other than that, it is in great shape. I sold my 1994 Cheverolet a few days ago.

Children:

My daughter starts kindergarten in two weeks. My son is 2 and a half and has tons of energy. My wife is currently pregnant with number 3. Woohoo!!! My daughter's first computer is an IMac running Ubuntu. I have a G4 with OS X for my 2 year old however I haven't set it up for him at this point.

Work:

I'm working for a local school district tending to most of their IT needs. There are 4 of us however I make it a point to get my hands into everything I can. My latest venture has been setting up a radius server on FC5 that uses MAC authentication across our network to secure our wireless network. All of our access points in three different schools talk to the server and verify the client has permission to joint the wireless side. We also placed 160 desktop units and I am about to begin building an image for our new laptops.

So, as you can see, life is moving along on this end. I hope everyone is well and I'll be in touch.
