Okay, here is the deal. I have a Gigabyte 845GE motherboard that is slightly damaged. It still works, but some of the damage affected the AGP buss, so it sucks for the newest games (i.e. Far Cry, Doom3, Half-life 2), so I am giving it away.

What is broken? Well, the first thing is that the onboard LAN is gone, so you will need a LAN card to run it on a network. The second thing is that the AGP buss was damaged. It still works, but the CPU to AGP bridge/buss does not work anymore. To get it to work, I had to change the CPU to AGP bridge to a PCI to PCI bridge. My ATI 9800 Pro still worked, but I lost some performance and many advanced grphics settings (anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering do not work anymore). This board does have on-board AGP, so you could use that or an older AGP card if you wanted. Basically, this is a good board for an office/email type computer.
